Navy Night

Last night was Navy Night at The Cell.

Swearing In-2

For the 31st consecutive year, the White Sox partnered with Great Lakes Naval Station to hold a swearing-in enlistment ceremony before the Sox game.

The 88 recruits now make up the White Sox Division at Recruit Training Command, and they’ll take the Sox flag with them throughout their training.

Mitch Harris
In case you missed it — back in April, the Cardinals called up 29-year-old relief pitcher Mitch Harris.

Harris is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, the first in the majors since Washington Senators reliever Nemo Gaines in 1921.
